How do you feel about the name Lily?

How do you feel about the name [name_f]Lily[/name_f]?

I like it. A classic that still feels fresh.

It has a pretty sound and I like the flowers. However, I know several girls by this name to where it just doesn’t do anything for me anymore. I get why some would love the name but I’m not a huge fan.

Its very sweet sounding, maybe too sweet. I really like its simplicity. Definitely my favorite flower name. I like it but don’t love it.

[name_f]Pretty[/name_f] and sweet sounding, but very popular. I like [name_f]Lindy[/name_f] more because it’s less common and gives the same feel, it makes a good nick name for other names too.

So yeah, I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f], I just wouldn’t use it because it’s so popular. I also like your name (Lexie).

It’s fine. Honestly, I find it a bit boring, but it’s nice enough.

I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] but it’s everywhere. There are at least 5 girls with some version of [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] or [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] at my daycare. But I guess it’s popular for a reason!

I love it as both an independent name and a form of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]!

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] is sweet and airy

i like it! i can’t see myself using it, but it’s classic, sweet, and simple.

love love love it!

i once didn’t like it very much, because i had bad experiences with two lily’s, but this year i taught a little girl named lilienne “lili” and now i find it so sweet!

these are the vibes imo: :thread::shell::sunflower::otter:

Simple and sweet.

I am a bit biased because my name is [name_f]Lily[/name_f]! I have personally strongly believed that the “Lily” spelling is far superior to [name_f]Lilly[/name_f], [name_f]Lillie[/name_f], [name_f]Lili[/name_f], ect. (A lily is a real thing why change the spelling?!?) I hate how common my name is, however I believe it is still a lovely name! It’s funny because when I hear the name on characters in books or movies it sound artsy and whimsical, but when I hear it irl it sounds overdone! (Probably because it is my name) The good thing about [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is it’s classic and ages well, so I say, if you love it, go for it!!

I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] because it’s a flower name and because I think it’s fun to say.

I agree with Lightingale. [name_f]Lindy[/name_f] would be more original. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is everywhere and has lost its luster. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] is nice.

Some people I know would say it’s to popular. I totally disagree. I’m more a fan of [name_f]Lila[/name_f] but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is still cute.

It’s my name as well, and I am also biased to love it. I actually rarely encounter other Lily’s (and I’ve worked at two daycares, never encountered a little [name_f]Lily[/name_f] but met SO many little Lila’s). I hate that it’s becoming so popular, but I do recommend it. I get complimented on it a lot.

A very appealing name that always makes me smile!

It’s a sweet name, but there are so many variations that they all sound overdone now.
