I really love the name [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] and I was just wondering what you guys think a girl named [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] might look and her personality and features etc… Does the name [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] give you a positive or negative influence if so why?
I would be pairing the name [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] with the middle name of [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] how does this look to you and do you like if so why?
The name [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] is after my Great Grandma who passed away in 2008. And [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] for various reasons and also because I love the name! So what do you think of [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f]?
And what do you think she may look like etc…?
When I think of a little [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] I see a kid who is her own girl. She’s kind of spunky, maybe little difficult at times, but overall a really sweet little girl.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name by the way!
[name_u]North[/name_u] or South?
In all seriousness, I’m not a fan of [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] on either gender, but I’d likely assume [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] was a boy before meeting them. Glancing through your signature it doesn’t seem to really fit with your other names. I do absolutely love [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] would go really nicely with your [name_f]Prudence[/name_f] [name_u]Shannen[/name_u] combo.
If I try and imagine [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] on a little girl I end up with someone spirited and stubborn, long brown hair, big hazel eyes, round features, maybe a touch on the chubby side but in that cute little-girl way.
I think [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] is an ok name, not my favorite but its pleasant. [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] to me is a tomboy with white-blonde hair and big blue eyes who loves to be outside!
I think of [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] Fanning, the actress (whose real first name is [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]) so a blonde girl with big curious eyes, little performer, precocious. She probably comes from a working class family.
[name_u]Dakota[/name_u] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] doesn’t have the best flow, maybe [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] [name_u]Wynn[/name_u]?
I can’t get past [name_u]Dakota[/name_u]. I really dislike it on either gender.
I also think of [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] Fanning. So my description is similar to others, a girl who goes her own way, big eyes, blonde, outdoorsy. I picture a girl who loves horses, can be stubborn, and is either artsy or has a strong imagination. [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] [name_f]Winnifred[/name_f] is wonderful, fresh, eccentric, and I like the pairing of two different name styles; it’s awkward yet it works, and it has so much character.
[name_u]Dakota[/name_u] makes me think of my friend who is of that background, who finds the name a grating and rude thing people who aren’t Native American name their kids. I was kind of disappointed when I found that out as I had liked the name as far as its sound, but I could never use it now.
I do like [name_f]Danica[/name_f], [name_f]Dvora[/name_f], and [name_f]Doveva[/name_f].
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f] is cute though.
Not a fan of [name_u]Dakota[/name_u]. At all. [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] is lovely. [name_u]Love[/name_u] both [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] and [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] as nicknames.
[name_u]Dakota[/name_u] is a cute name, common in my area. Not a fan of [name_f]Winfred[/name_f], I do like the suggestion of [name_u]Wyn[/name_u] and would like to add one of my new faves. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] although it is too weird matched with [name_u]Dakota[/name_u].
[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought is [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] Fanning as [name_f]Fern[/name_f] in [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]'s [name_m]Web[/name_m].
[name_u]Dakota[/name_u] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] is cute in a way. It’s not something that I find particularly appealing but with honoring or particularly meaningful names there is always wiggle room.
I basically picture [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] Fanning as a kid: cute, blonde, big blue eyes. I think a [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] would have a very strong personality and be cheeky (in a good way). I think [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] is lovely, and I love that it honours your great grandma.
I picture [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] Fanning, and I picture a working class family who are close-knit, but don’t have much besides each other. I picture a blonde, blue-eyed precocious little girl with worn out sneakers and tangled hair, who spends her time playing out in the woods, climbing trees and throwing rocks into a river.
I don’t particularly like the name; it sounds very dated to me, as [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] became popular in my area for boys in the late 90s, moved to girls in the early 00s and quickly fizzled out.
I’ve known 4 [name_u]Dakota[/name_u]'s in my life and all of them were obnoxious and rude boys. For some reason, I still picture it as a girl’s name even though it’s now my boyfriend’s name I tease him about it.
I picture a girl [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] as outgoing, outspoken, someone that stands up for what she believes in, and not caring what others think about her. More of a tomboy
[name_u]Dakota[/name_u] Fanning.
Our little girl is [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] and shes the happiest, most smiley little girl. She has big blue eyes and long lashes and dark hair that has slight curls at the back. She’s cheeky but sweet. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], very cute
