I’ve heard this name pronounced three different ways lately - and I’m wondering, how do you pronounce it?
I’ve heard these versions:
Now-mi
Nay-oh-mi
NA-o-mi
I’ve heard this name pronounced three different ways lately - and I’m wondering, how do you pronounce it?
I’ve heard these versions:
Now-mi
Nay-oh-mi
NA-o-mi
I say ‘neye-OH-me’.
I have always heard it pronounced nay-OH-mi where I am from.
I say nay-OH-me.
It’s a beautiful name. I love it.
I say NEH-oh-mee, but I’m not sure if that’s right - my pronunciations usually aren’t… Good luck - it’s a gorgeous name!
I say it nay-oh-mi, but I have heard it pronounced nah-oh-mi.
nay-oh-mee
I pronounce it however the wearer says they say it. I know one that goes by Nigh-oh-mee, but there are others that would go by Nay-oh-mee, and others by No-mee, and still others by Nah-oh-mee (those are typically Israeli, since Americans can’t really pronounce the [name]Ah[/name] and Oh sounds one after another without dipthongs). It just depends on the person, really. I pronounce it all of those ways.
nay-OH-mee.
Nay-oh-mee. I personally prefer [name]Noemi[/name] but either way it is gorgeous.
That’s how I say it too, though I have heard nay-OH-me.
I say (nay-O-me).
“Ny-oh-me”. I have NEVER heard it pronounced any other way.
NAY-uh-me. (Where Nay rhymes with day)
I say Ny-oh-me, but have also heard it pronounced Nay-oh-me
My friend [name]Naomi[/name] pronounces it nay-OH-me. Never heard it any other way!
Now-mi is how I tend to say it on my own, but my friend has a daughter named that, and it’s nay-o-mee for her
nay-OH-me, and everyone I know pronounces it the same, except for my 80-year-old grandmother who says nigh-OH-me, as in the word, “nigh” that rhymes with, “eye.”
I say nay-oh-me.
I know a few, and they pronounce it nay-OH-mee. I’ve heard nye-oh-mee too, but I don’t like it as much that way.
