[name]How[/name] do you pronounce [name]Aveline[/name]? What about [name]Ave[/name]?
Hmm… Well I look at it and my first thought is ‘avenue’ so maybe ‘av-a-line’ (av like have)?
I guess it could be ‘ay-va-line’ though too.
I would say ay-vah-leen. [name]Ave[/name] would be ay-v to me.
Ay-vuh-lye-n (long A, long I)
Avaline: Av-uh-leen
[name]Ave[/name]: Ayve
Ahh (as in [name]August[/name]) Veh Leen Eh
This, with Av rhyming with have.
I personally would pronounce it with the short a short u, and long e sounds …Av-uh-leen. Beautiful name…btw!
“A-vuh-line”, A as in [name]Apple[/name].
[name]Aveline[/name] - av-eh-leen (‘av’ as in have)
[name]Ave[/name] - ayve (‘ay’ as in day)
I would personally pronounce it Av-uh-line with a long “I” on the last syllable…but I normally pronounce things in strange ways.
Me too; I say ‘AV-eh-leen,’ like [name]Avalon[/name] (or avenue, or the French word… sort of), and ‘AYV’ like [name]Maeve[/name].
I do like [name]Aveline[/name] with an ‘ah,’ as in [name]Ave[/name] [name]Maria[/name] – i.e. first syllable rhyming with ‘mauve.’ But ‘av-eh-leen’ feels more intuitive.
^^ I agree with the above.
I was just looking at how to pronounce this a few days ago and this was helpful
