Okay, I feel kind of stupid asking this, but I need to know. Nameberry says the correct pronunciation is “ez may” but I in the Twilight movies I think they call her “ez me.” Are both pronunciations accurate?
In the movie they call her ez-may except for once when [name]Robert[/name] Pattinson ([name]Edward[/name]) called her ez-me as apparently that’s how they say it in [name]Britain[/name]? Anyways I’ve always said it ez-may.

I’ve always pronounced it “ehz may.” I’ve also heard “eez may” and “eez muh,” but have no idea if they’re at all correct. I saw the first twilight movie and don’t remember them pronouncing it “ehz mee,” but I could very easily be wrong!!

In the movies they pronounce the name Ez-may. I kind of like it pronounce Ess-may, I have heard this several times.
I’ve heard it pronounced both Ez-may & Ess-may; personally, I strongly prefer the latter, with the ‘s’ sound.

The most commo way I have heard it pr. is ez-may, in South [name]Africa[/name] AND UK. I have never heard it as ess-may and I dislike it said this way. I met someone a few years ago called Esmi - Ez-mee and this is my favourite way as I dont care for ez-may.
