I pronounce it ee-va, and that’s the only way I’ve heard it (I live in the US). I think in places in Europe it’s pronounced more like eh-va or ay-va. It’s a pretty name…

E-vuh is how I say it. On the movie [name]Wall[/name] e they said"E-faa."

I think all are legitimate pronunciations, though I would assume it to be pronounced the first two ways (Ee-vah and Eh-vuh) with Ay-vuh being spelt [name]Ava[/name]

I have a spanish friend who goes by Eh-vuh, like [name]Eva[/name] Peron

I believe the Spanish pronounciation is Aye-va. But I could be wrong.

I know people who pronounce it each of those ways, and I’m in the US. My first instinct would be ee-va if I were to see it and didn’t know how the person pronounced it.

The spanish pronunciation is between Eh and A- vah.

[name]Long[/name] E is the English way, but remember there are a lot of Hispanic Americans.

I usually pronounce it AYE-vah. I live in the south US. I would second pronounce it EE-vah, but prefer the AYE-vah pronunciation as I think it sounds prettier. EE-vah always makes me think Evil. Evil [name]Eva[/name]. I went to school with someone who called herself that.
