Actually, my first intuition was to pronounce it the same as [name_f]Megan[/name_f]. However, second obvious choice in my eyes would be Mee-gan. I would have never thought of [name_f]May[/name_f]-gan.
Like the person above me, my first instinct would be [name_f]Megan[/name_f], but after that I would assume [name_f]May[/name_f]-gan.
On first look I would have guessed Meh-gan, but as that’s not an option, I would go for Mee-gan.
I’ve always just pronounced it [name_f]Megan[/name_f] tbh but otherwise I would have gone with [name_f]May[/name_f]-gan
[name_m]Just[/name_m] the same way I pronounce [name_f]Megan[/name_f], [name_f]MEG[/name_f]-ən.
Adding the information that behind the name has.
I thought it was just another spelling of [name_f]Megan[/name_f], as well, so [name_f]MEG[/name_f]-en. Going off the spelling alone, I’d assume MEE-gan.
Actually neither, I say meh-gehn. But def closer to may than mee.
I’m the same, I’d just think [name_f]Megan[/name_f]. I don’t even know that I’d even think of the other pronunciations, I’d just have to ask and be corrected.
