[name]How[/name] do you pronounce [name]Joely[/name]? Like jo-lee or joel-lee? What are your thoughts on the combo [name]Joely[/name] “[name]Jo[/name]” [name]Nicole[/name] as a sister to [name]Corinne[/name] “[name]Cori[/name]” [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Weston[/name] “[name]Wes[/name]” [name]David[/name]?
I personally say "[name]Joel[/name]-ly, " but I’m guessing some people may say [name]Jo[/name]-ley. Either way, I think it’s a cute name. I could see a little [name]Joely[/name] being a sister to [name]Corinne[/name] and [name]Weston[/name]. Have you thought about [name]Josephine[/name]?
While I definitely think [name]Joely[/name] [name]Nicole[/name] flows well, [name]Nicole[/name] is very dated (1980s). What about [name]Joely[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] or [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Colette[/name] instead?
Good luck!
I pronounce it [name]Joel[/name]-y or Joly. The [name]Jo[/name]-el sound is very slight to my ear. Not quite rhyming with bowl, not as distinct syllabically as hotel (without the t).
@[name]Jill[/name], I recognize the person asking from another thread - I think [name]Noelle[/name] was considered, but [name]Joely[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is a little repetitive! [name]Joely[/name] [name]Nicole[/name] is a good option. Of course, a lot of names sound nice, depends on what your requirements are or what other names you are attracted to.
[name]Joely[/name]! is a very nice name. I like it, and I remember the other thread, I think it’s a great combination, IIRC what you were going for.
I’m having a baby girl, and my husbands name is [name]Joel[/name]- and we like the name [name]Joely[/name]. We’ve had many conversations on how to pronounce it- we like it pronounced [name]Joe[/name]-ly, so her name can be subtly different from her fathers.
