[name_f]My[/name_f] world just got broken hahaha. I heard some YouTuber pronouncing this like Lee-vay and felt really frustrated lol. For me it has always been Leh-vee. Which obr id correct and how do u say this?
LEE-vye
In [name_f]English[/name_f], LEE-vie.
levi is often LEE-vye and levy is (as a last name at least) lev-ee but i knew a levy who said his name LEE-vye
LEE-vie for me, too.
Lee-vye is my instinctive pn
LEE-vye
Always pronounced it lee-vye and never heard it any other way up until recently when I heard it pronounced levvy and that did not seem right to me
LEE VI (as in Pi)…Levvy and Leevay both sound really wrong to me.
It’s LEE-vye (as in pie) as a first name, but LEE-vie (as in pea) as a last name.
I pronounce it LEE-vye
Lay-vee
I’ve only ever heard it pronounced LEE-vye (rhyming with pie). I’m in the northeast US.
Lee-vye or leh-vee, depending on who I’m talking to! I usually say lee-vye in my head, though.
LEE-vye
I have only heard it as lee-vye (last syllable like “eye”)
This is the way I pronounce this name in portuguese
[name_u]Levi[/name_u] (lee-VIE)
When I first saw it I pronounced it as LEH-vee, but I was corrected to LEE-vye. I have heard it pronounced the first way a few times, but everyone I know pronounces it LEE-vye
LEE-vye. Although I really want to pronounce it LEH-vee because of the name Lev (pronounced lehv)
