I would say it just like [name_f]Maya[/name_f] (to rhyme with Kaia/Kaya)

Same here!! Both pronounced MY-uh to me, but have admittedly met very few (and never a Maia), so I’m not sure how most people would say it in my area!

Thanks all
My-uh
I would pronounce [name_f]Maia[/name_f] just like you would spell [name_f]Maya[/name_f] or [name_f]Mya[/name_f]. (Pronounce My-uh)
MY-uh, just like [name_f]Maya[/name_f].
I know a [name_f]Maia[/name_f] and she pronounces it may-uh. I would also say [name_f]Maya[/name_f] like this rather than my-uh.
I know someone who pronounces it May-uh but I think it typically is pronounced the same as [name_f]Maya[/name_f]
Same as [name_f]Maya[/name_f], but I’ve also heard it pronounced MAY-uh and although I don’t prefer it, I think it’s a perfectly legitimate pronunciation too
