How do you pronounce Salvatore?

I know it’s supposed to be [name]Sal[/name]-va-tor-ee, but I say [name]Sal[/name]-va-tor, which I know is supposed to be spelled [name]Salvator[/name]. But with out the e it feels incomplete, but I prefer the [name]Salvator[/name] pronunciation. :frowning:

It’d be a middle name, so I think I could get away with it, but I wanted the input of others.

The first time I heard the name was as sal-vah-tor, but it was spelled [name]Salvatore[/name]. It was on The Vampire Diaries.

It’s sal-vah-tor-eh. [name]RA[/name] [name]Salvatore[/name] is my favorite author and that’s where i’m getting the pronunciation from.

I too prefer the sal-vah-tor pronunciation but if you want that, you should spell it [name]Salvator[/name].

The Italian [name]Salvatore[/name] should be pronounced as “sal-va-[name]TOR[/name]-eh”.
