I have known both TAWL-ya and [name_u]TAL[/name_u]-ya pronunciations. The -ya could be changed to an -ee-ah in another accent. I haven’t ever met anyone who pronounces the “TH” but I know that some do.
I say Thah-lee-uh. It was one of my favorite names but pronunciation seems to be soooo different for everyone so I took it off my list (pronunciation issues are a problem for me). I still love it though!
I pronounce it [name_u]Tay[/name_u]-lee-uh
I say [name_m]TAH[/name_m]-lee-uh.
[name_f]Tahlia[/name_f] (same pronunciation) is quite common here. [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] is less common and I expect that some Australians would say THAH-lee-uh if they saw it written.
i mixed the [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] threads. Sorry.
I’ve met two Thalias before, and both are [name_m]Tah[/name_m]-lee-ah
I also pronounce it [name_u]Tal[/name_u]-ee-ah. Same way I would pronounce [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] minus the Na.
