How do you pronounce this and where are you from?

We like the name Cassian but aren’t sure how most people pronounce it. We want Cass-ee-en and are in Australia.
Where are you from, how is it pronounced there and do you have a preference?

[name_m]Texas[/name_m]. I would say Cass-ee-en.

I’m from the US and I’ve never heard cash-un personally! I’ve heard the “sh” in the middle of [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] but not [name_m]Cassian[/name_m].

Cass-ee-uhn, I’m [name_f]English[/name_f]. I went with Cass-ee-en in the poll as it is closest to the way I pronounce it.

I’ve only heard the [name_m]Cash[/name_m]- pronunciation with [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], not [name_m]Cassian[/name_m].

Cass-ee-uhn (UK)

i’m from Poland and i would produce it more or less “Cass-ee-en”

Massachusetts. I pronounce it Cass-ee-en, and I’m pretty sure everyone else in the state would agree with me.

I have never met or even heard of a [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], but I pronounce the name like “Cass-ee-en”. I live in the midwest United States.

Cass-ee-en -Scotland

I pronounce it in a different way , [name_f]Italy[/name_f] .
