How Do you Pronounce Tove? Cove?

I am confused how to pornounce names like [name_u]Cove[/name_u] and [name_f]Tove[/name_f]…

Is it TOE-VEE and COE-VEE?

Or [name_f]Tove[/name_f] and [name_u]Cove[/name_u] Rhyming with Stove?

What do you Think of the Name?

I pronounce [name_f]Tove[/name_f] as toe-vuh. [name_u]Cove[/name_u] is exactly how it’s spelt. I like both names! I personally prefer [name_u]Cove[/name_u].

I love [name_f]Tove[/name_f] (though pronounced like this - otherwise it makes me think of toes), and [name_u]Cove[/name_u] is pretty too - making me think of the coast - but the sound is a little to close to COVID for comfort. I actually wonder if Coast might be better!

Tove is toe-vah for me, and [name_u]Cove[/name_u] rhymes with stove  I think both are nice names, but [name_f]Tove[/name_f] is my favourite

You also may like [name_u]Dove[/name_u] (duhv)?

Tove as toe-vah, [name_u]Cove[/name_u] rhyming with stove

I’m neutral about both names but they’re nice

I have stumbled across this gem of a website today. You can click on the names to hear PN. [name_f]Tove[/name_f] is number 24.

[name_f]Tove[/name_f], I would pronounce as too-veh (I believe this is how [name_f]Tove[/name_f] [name_f]Lo[/name_f] pronounces her name. It’s Swedish).

I would pronounce [name_u]Cove[/name_u] exactly like the [name_f]English[/name_f] word, rhyming with “stove”.

I say [name_u]Cove[/name_u] to rhyme with stove, and probably [name_f]Tove[/name_f] as [name_f]Tove[/name_f]-uh.

I also say [name_u]Cove[/name_u] to rhyme with stove. But here in [name_u]Sweden[/name_u] [name_f]Tove[/name_f] is pronounced too-veh and not toe-vuh or toe-vah. Those pronunciation fit the name [name_f]Tova[/name_f] more.
