Two syllables ([name_m]Jun[/name_m]-ya) or three ([name_f]Juni[/name_f]-a)?
I say [name_u]JUNE[/name_u]-ee-uh. But the 2nd syllable isn’t that prominent.
[name_u]June[/name_u]-eee-uh
Three syllables. Joo nee uh.
Exactly this.
I would say JOO-nee-uh but like someone else said the 2nd syllable isn’t that prominent. I’ve never actually met one though, so I’ve never had the opportunity to really say it. Interesting, because I definitely pronounce [name_f]Julia[/name_f] like [name_u]JULE[/name_u]-ya.
I say JOO-nee-ah. [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name!
I say is [name_u]June[/name_u]-Ya.
[name_u]JUNE[/name_u]-ya. I love it any way it is pronounced.
In my accent, it is exactly the same as the word junior.
Three syllables. JOO-nee-uh
Joo-nee-uh for me too
Rhymes with [name_f]Petunia[/name_f]
I know a [name_f]Junia[/name_f] who provinces it Joon-yah, so that’s how I say it!
Jew-knee-ah
(sorry for the “jew”, didn’t know how else to write what I was saying…hehe)
Three syllables.
I say it in three syllables.
I actually say HOO-nee-uh.
three syllables but I read it as Yun-ia
The little girl I know (her mom’s a theology teacher) named [name_f]Junia[/name_f] prounces it like [name_u]JUNE[/name_u]-ee-ah.
