super subtle difference but it’s more like LEE-vi for me
Seconded though I could do [name_m]Leave[/name_m] - I as well
Lee-vi or Leave-I for me as well. Lev-I for me would be [name_u]Levy[/name_u], as in like a tax levy
I usually pronounce it LEEV-eye, but I’ve known a boy for years who pronounces is LEV-ee, still spelt Levi!
I say LEE-vy
LEE-vi. I’d pronounce [name_u]Levy[/name_u] like the word, leh-vee.
LEE-vi if it’s a first name, LE-vee if it’s a last name.
in an english setting, LEAVE-eye
in any other language situation, lev-EE
@skylarhope Lev-eye is how I’ve always pronounced it, but I’ve seen it pronounced both leave-eye and lev-ee.
@skylarhope I instinctively pronounce this name LEH-vi, both as a name and a surname.
I pronounce it like the denim brand, which is Leave-eye
I agree with @Aren. I would say Lee-vye in [name_f]English[/name_f] and Leh-vee in other languages.
