how do you spell ay-lish?
I’m confused because I’ve always spelt it Aelish but then I found there was [name_f]Ailis[/name_f] but I would pronounce that as Eye-lis which reminds me of eyelids so idk?

ay-lish I would spell [name_f]Ailis[/name_f], [name_f]Ailish[/name_f], or Aylish. Also [name_f]Ailís[/name_f] but I know accent marks aren’t allowed everywhere.
ree-un I’d spell [name_u]Rian[/name_u] or [name_u]Rhian[/name_u], although it would probably get pronounced like [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] sometimes.
[name_f]Eilish[/name_f], & I would be completely clueless on ree-un & ask, but if i had to make something up I would just put [name_u]Ryan[/name_u].
The two Ay-lishs I knew spelled it [name_f]Ailis[/name_f] but I’ve seen [name_f]Ailish[/name_f] too.
Ree-un would probably be [name_u]Rhian[/name_u]
I’d instinctively spell it [name_f]Ailish[/name_f], though I’d be fully prepared for it to be wrong!
I’d spell ‘ree-un’ like [name_u]Rian[/name_u] because I know a [name_m]Tian[/name_m] who’s name is pronounced the same but with a T!
[name_f]Eilis[/name_f] I’d say!
The most familiar spelling for me is [name_f]Ailish[/name_f] or [name_f]Eilish[/name_f]. They’re the ones I come across most often.
As for Ree-un. I would probably spell it Riun I might consider Rien.
I think no matter how you spell it people will assume its [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] but I would attempt to spell it different enough to make people stop and ask so I could give them the correct pronunciation.

[name_f]Ailish[/name_f], [name_u]Rian[/name_u] (to me [name_u]Rhian[/name_u] is ree-ANN)
The first i would think [name_f]Ailish[/name_f] and the second Riun
I have a friend with the name AY-lish, and she spells it [name_f]Ailish[/name_f]!
For Ree-un, I’d say [name_u]Rian[/name_u] (although it may get mispronounced at times)
