[name]How[/name] does the name [name]Maximus[/name] sound? Nickname [name]Max[/name], of course.
I like [name]Maximus[/name], so I say yes.
[name]Bailey[/name], [name]Toby[/name], and [name]Reid[/name] are very modern-sounding names, and even [name]Benjamin[/name], though ancient, is still used enough to sound modern and has the modern-sounding nicknames [name]Ben[/name] or [name]Benny[/name]. I don’t get the same feeling with [name]Maximus[/name]. Yes, it has the trendy “[name]Max[/name]” nickname, but I just think it has a very different feel than the other names. It feels much older, much clunkier, much dustier, and much heavier than the other four names. I recommend [name]Maxwell[/name] instead, which in my opinion suits the other names much better. Also, “gluteus maximus” is the name of the muscles in one’s buttocks–not a nice image to have, in my opinion.
I like [name]Maximus[/name], but it doesn’t really fit in with your children’s names. But does it need to? [name]Max[/name] works well and if that’s what you’re going to call him daily then I think it’s fine.
It may not go together as a “theme” but I don’t think siblings’ names really need to. All those names are good boy names, they all say BOY to me, if you know what I mean, so I think they go together fine.
That’s sort of what I thought. It doesn’t really match per se, but it doesn’t really need to either.
I agree with a lot of the things other people have said. It doesn’t seem to match your other names, and gluteous maximus is not the most pleasant image. [name]Maxwell[/name] would work better, I think. You might try looking at other Latin names for some inspiration, if you like [name]Maximus[/name].
I like it! I think [name]Max[/name] “goes” better with [name]Bailey[/name], [name]Toby[/name], [name]Benjamin[/name], and [name]Reid[/name] (love those names, btw!), but if you like [name]Maximus[/name] nn [name]Max[/name], I think it’s a great option.
I think [name]Max[/name] fits but not [name]Maximus[/name].
