This just came to mind! I love it. I’m kind of stuck on [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] right now and just can’t seem to shake it.
But this name just popped up and I’m thinking hmmmm that’s pretty sweet.
Maybe I’ll have twins. lol.

I like [name_f]Neve[/name_f], reminds me of scream queen [name_f]Neve[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u]. I pronounce it “nev”, like [name_f]Bev[/name_f].
I really like the sound of [name_f]Neve[/name_f], but neither [name_f]Neve[/name_f] nor [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] are as beautiful as the sound to me (though [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] is intriguing, but I wouldn’t use it outside the UK/Ireland).
[name_f]Neve[/name_f] is my nickname… short for [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]. I like it very much.
I like it okay, although I like [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] more. I go back and forth on it–[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] was an old, old combo of mine!–but at this point I like [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] much, much more. I would love to meet a [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]!
[name_m]How[/name_m] are you pronouncing it? Like [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] or like [name_f]Bev[/name_f]?
I would pronounce it like bev
I pronounce it like [name_f]Neve[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] pronounces it, too. Nameberry says that [name_f]Neve[/name_f]-as-a-nickname-for-[name_f]Niamh[/name_f] is supposed to be NEEV, but that’s not how I say it.
[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]= NEE-iv, [name_f]Neve[/name_f]=[name_u]NEV[/name_u]
I think it’s okay, but I prefer [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] by a mile.
Not a fan of this spelling, [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] is so much nicer. I prefer this to [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] though.
I once taught a student named [name_u]Nev[/name_u], she told me it was a Hebrew word for ‘snow’ I thought it was really unique and pretty.
It’s a great name
