How many Birdies do you know IRL?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is in our top 2 choices for baby #5[name_f][/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] only hold up is that it feels a little trendy, but I don’t actually know any in real life [name_f][/name_f]. How many gals names [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] do you know in real life (not just on Instagram haha)?

[name_f][/name_f]

Thank you!

None! I’m in the US!

None! I’m in Canada! Birdie is unique and adorable!

I don’t know if this helpful, but I’ve never met a [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] in real life!

ive met 1 over the last 3 years of working in childcare!

I met one and they were a bit of a asshole (they had a bad home life but they would also scream at people who assumed their gender in the 2nd grade so I never liked them much)

I only know one Birdy (with a y!) and I’ve seen one [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] “Birdie” announced on social media (baby of a friend of a friend). I’m in the US

I’m in the US (southeastern), and I’ve met 1 [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] – a baby! Not too trendy at all.

I don’t know any either! [name_f][/name_f]

I know one Birdie under two. The daughter of a friend. It’s still an uncommon choice in Australia.

I know two Birdie/Birdys, one (male) in his late twenties & one (female) around fourteen years old

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

[name_f][/name_f]

I don’t know any Birdie’s in real life. [name_f][/name_f] There is a sports writer in my town who I like to read/listen to radio interviews of & he has a daughter named this. [name_f][/name_f] But I don’t know them, so maybe it hardly counts! [name_f][/name_f] I like [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] or [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f] Maybe those make it less trendy feeling for you?

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

I live in the US, and I don’t know any! I know one [name_m]Bertie[/name_m] (short for Elizabeth) and one Burdie, as well as a dog with the name that’s spelled either [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] or [name_m]Bertie[/name_m]. However, Bertie’s name does get misspelled as [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] or Birdy regularly, so I guess it’s a more common name than that? Sorry I can’t be of more help.

I live in the US and don’t know any Birdies! I would love to, though.

I’ve met one teenage [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] in the US [name_m]South[/name_m]! I also haven’t met them, but a friend of a friend is named Birdi (with an i).

[name_f][/name_f]

I could see it feeling trendy as in “on-trend” (nicknames, nature names, word names, vintage revival), but I’ve always thought of [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] as quite uncommon! I was so excited to meet the one [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] I did, as I love the name :yellow_heart:

1 [name_f][/name_f]- I’m in Australia

None! [name_f]English[/name_f] berry :dove:

I know no Birdies (in the US). [name_f]My[/name_f] great grandpa, however, was named [name_f]Berdie[/name_f] [name_m]Franklin[/name_m] and I think it’s just the coolest.

None. I’m in the US Midwest.

None:)
