How to close your own thread?

Specifically for a [name_f]Baby[/name_f] Name Games thread, where there are rounds? Thanks!

You have to have trust level 4 in the Discourse system to be able to close threads. With the [name_f]Baby[/name_f] Name Games topics, editing the title to include Closed or completely changing it to just this word, will be enough for most people to notice. If it’s my game, sometimes I also reply to the topic with ‘closed’ so that the most recent reply also gives a heads up.

If you have TL4 there will be a spanner next to the reply count. Selecting this reveals the Close Topic option

If you’d like to close a topic for another reason, you can ask a Leader, Moderator or Admin to do this for you. With rounds finishing in the baby name games topics, the ‘protocol’ I’d to just edit your title though. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this answered your question!

I uploaded the wrong screenshot! It’s relevant so I’ll leave it, but I meant to show you this:

Spanner symbol next to 1/1 replies as I’m at TL4.

I don’t think I’m at that level… (what must one do to obtain this after 10 years of membership?) :joy:

here is the page detailing the trust levels for Discourse!

TL4 can only be obtained by manual promotion (unlike the other levels which you can reach automatically upon certain criteria being met).
