How To Get to Bea, And A Few Other Matters

We are trying to find a middle name for [name]Cora[/name]. Our other girls name is [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] nn [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name]. Originally we had [name]Cora[/name] paired with [name]Lucille[/name]. I loved [name]Cora[/name] [name]Lou[/name] and ivy [name]Lou[/name]. But hubby didnt like it. So today I was thinking… Why not [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name] and [name]Cora[/name] [name]Bea[/name]?

Trouble is I HATE [name]Beatrice[/name], And all of those flowery old fashioned b names. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any middle names for [name]Cora[/name] so that we could call her [name]Cora[/name] [name]Bea[/name]?

Also, we are looking for some more names to add to our girls list so that we can have four or five options  here’s what we have for boys-

[name]Liam[/name] [name]Parker[/name]
[name]Merrick[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]Rhett[/name] [name]Maverick[/name]
[name]Callen[/name]
Maccoy

Girls-
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Cora[/name].

Here are some names I brainstormed today for possible first or middles- haven’t passed them by hubby yet!

[name]Seraphina[/name]
[name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name]
[name]Natalia[/name]
[name]Lola[/name]
[name]Lila[/name]
Chairs
[name]Bella[/name] ( I love this because I love italian culture and the meaning of this. But so overused and cutesy)

[name]How[/name] do you feel about [name]Cora[/name]-[name]Bee[/name]? It has a cuter more [name]Ivy[/name]-[name]Lou[/name] sort of softness to me and would allow you to literally choose any B- name that you like.
For [name]Bea[/name] since you don’t like [name]Beatrice[/name] have you considered expanding your search for names that start Be- and end in -a?
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Belinda[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Benedicta[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Beate[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Isabeau[/name] ([name]Cora[/name] [name]Beau[/name]?)
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Tabea[/name]

I am assuming [name]Bea[/name] is prn. bee, and if so, any name starting with a B will do for this nickname.
Also, if you love [name]Bella[/name], there are several ways to get there. [name]Christabel[/name], [name]Rosabelle[/name], [name]Arabella[/name], [name]Amabel[/name], [name]Corabelle[/name], [name]Willabelle[/name], etc.

Anything that starts with a B would work. Maybe [name]Bay[/name] would be more streamlined & not too old fashioned feeling? Or [name]Belle[/name] since you’re a fan of [name]Bella[/name]. [name]Cora[/name] Belladonna is a bit ott, but I like it. Or [name]Cora[/name] [name]Bellamy[/name]? I also think [name]Cora[/name] [name]Wilhelmina[/name] could become [name]Cora[/name] [name]Bee[/name] for [name]Billie[/name]. Also names like [name]Melissa[/name] or [name]Deborah[/name] which mean [name]Bee[/name] or anything with meanings that connect to honey? Like [name]Pamela[/name]?

You could just middle name her [name]Bea[/name]. I’m pretty that’s a totally kosher name. Unless you don’t like that? I think [name]Bea[/name] on its own would be great though!

I agree that [name]Bea[/name] on its own would be a totally acceptable middle name.
Another option is to use something with a LAST syllable that is pronounced like bea, such as [name]Ashby[/name] or [name]Shelby[/name]

I think you have answered your own question - why not [name]Cora[/name] [name]Bella[/name]?

Otherwise:
Have you considered [name]Beatrix[/name] as an alternative to [name]Beatrice[/name]?
As per previous post: any middle starting with or containing B.

And a wild cad: [name]Cora[/name] [name]Katinka[/name]

If you’re no longer using [name]Cora[/name] [name]Lucille[/name] I may steal it.

I love [name]Cora[/name] [name]Isabeau[/name] but that doesnt quite get you to [name]Bea[/name]/[name]Bee[/name]. [name]Cora[/name] [name]Bellamy[/name] is nice, and I just read that [name]Bellamy[/name] means ‘fine friend’.
