How to honor Elaine?

What’s the best way to honor a relave called [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]?

Our first daughter is [name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_f]Ardith[/name_f] and her middle names honor her grandparents. We wanted one middle name for our second baby but I’ve been thinking she might ask me one day why [name_m]Will[/name_m] has two middle names. Am I overthinking? Should we just use [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] (my husband loves it)?
We are thinking about [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]

Briar [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is so sweet! I think it’s perfectly fine to use just one middle name, although my personal preference is consistency among the sibset.

Elaine by itself is a lovely way to honor the relative. [name_f]Lainey[/name_f] or [name_u]Lane[/name_u] could also work?

Elaine is a variant of [name_f]Helen[/name_f], so [name_f]Helen[/name_f] or [name_f]Helena[/name_f] might also be appropriate!

I would give her two middles also. [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is lovely.

Briar [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is gorgeous

Briar [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Lainey[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Eleni[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_u]Laine[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Laina[/name_f]

Briar [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is lovely. If you were considering [name_u]Scout[/name_u], how about [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_u]Scout[/name_u]?

I like [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].
And yes I would give her two middles just like her big sister.

Briar [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] hazel or briar hazel [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] are great!

Briar [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] works, and I’d also suggest [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] as a possible combo. I love the sound of [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Eleni[/name_f].

My husband and I recently started having the multiple middle name conversation. He has 3 middle names (assigned at birth) and I have two (added my maiden name when we married. While the kids may not care about us, I don’t want to create any sibling in fighting should we have more than one by giving one two middle names and another just one. I think [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] sounds lovely. Does this honor someone in the family as well?

I think [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is an awesome combo! I don’t think it’s necessary for your second child to also have two middle names, but I think it would be a nice way to tie them together. Plus you have a combo already that’s lovely! I’d suggest [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] as it think it flows a teeny bit better.

Briar [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is so beautiful! I would use two middle names.

Go with [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]!

Any [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]/Elena-variant would be a lovely honorific.
