What is a good way to make your character stand out or unique?
Maybe take inspiration from the people around you. What makes them unique? If two of those people had a baby and inherited both of those characteristics, what would that look like?
avoid cliches such as a red haired orphan always being a tomboy, or an only child always being spoilt etc. give them a strong storyline and backstory and make sure that you really connect with your character. nobody’s going to find your character interesting if you don’t find them interesting either.
