How to pronounce Aley?

So i like [name_f]Aley[/name_f] as a nn for [name_m]Valerian[/name_m] - but how would u pronounce it? I pronounce it [name_f]Ally[/name_f] like a nn for [name_u]Allison[/name_u], but idk if thats “correct”?

I don’t think there’s necessarily a correct way to say it, but I instinctively said “uh-LAY” when I saw it. Maybe [name_u]Ali[/name_u] would work better?

I’d say AE-lee, as in the sounds letter A and ‘Lee.’

[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought would be EH-lay.

I can’t get past the word ‘ale’ in there so I read it ale-ee - I think you could spell it [name_f]Ally[/name_f] if you want that pn?
