How to pronounce Graham?

We may be expecting a baby boy and those names are always hard for us.

I love [name_m]Graham[/name_m].

How do you pronounce it?

Other name ideas are:

[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_u]Lee[/name_u]
[name_u]Lincoln[/name_u]
[name_u]Jordan[/name_u]

(Our other kids are [name_f]Nina[/name_f], [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_u]Connor[/name_u], [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u], Hadassah)

I like [name_m]Graham[/name_m] too! I say it as a single syllable, exactly the same as gram

I think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] goes well with your other children!! If not [name_m]Graham[/name_m], I would choose [name_u]Finn[/name_u]

I say GRAY-um, but I’m in the UK.

I like it with your set but slightly prefer [name_u]Finn[/name_u] for you.

[name_m]Graham[/name_m] is a lovely name! I say it “gram” like the unit, or like a telegram, anagram, etc.

I say it as Grey-um. Im uk

i pronounce graham as rhyming with gram, tram, etc. (i’m american, specifically from california)

i think it fits with your other kids nicely!! if i had to pick a second one from your list, i’d pick lincoln.

I have a family member named [name_m]Graham[/name_m] and we say Gray-um which is the only way I’ve heard it pronounced here (Canada).

I say gray-um, I’m Australian.

GRAY-əm

I say gram - one syllable.

i say graham using one syllable, as in gram! from your list, i love finn with your sibset. imo, graham and finn are my faves for you :seedling:

Wow I’ve never thought anyone would pronounce it “gram”! I say it GRAY-um, I’m British/Australian

Aussie-Brit household and we say Gray-um. I think there are comedy sketches about the way Graham - and Craig - are pronounced in the US versus UK/Cth.

I like it with your other names, but think I’d opt for a non G name after Gabriel.

Finn or Lincoln

Or maybe:

Logan
Callum
Rory
Hamish
Brodie
Duncan
Owen
Ronan

Grey-um, and I’m from UK as well.

[name_u]Loving[/name_u] [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Lee[/name_u], and [name_u]Jordan[/name_u].

[name_u]Jordan[/name_u] fits right in with [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f] and [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] as a more religious name, whilst [name_u]Finn[/name_u] matches [name_u]Irish[/name_u] [name_u]Connor[/name_u].

I love Graham… I say it like gram. From the US. [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] is my favorite for your sibset though.

I pronounce it gram (USA), but I could easily be corrected to gray-uhm if that’s how someone else pronounced it

[name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorite from your list is [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] though!

Like gram, the unit of measurement.

I love this name! He’s so warm and sweet. :teddy_bear: I pronounce it as one syllable, the same way I’d say “gram.” I’m in the US.
