How to spell Leela simplier

I love [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. But I pronounce it [name_f]Leelah[/name_f]. [name_m]How[/name_m] to get that, considering I hate [name_f]Leela[/name_f] or [name_f]Leelah[/name_f].

I was thinking:

[name_f]Lilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Lela[/name_f]
[name_f]Laela[/name_f] (maybe this would be pronounced [name_f]Layla[/name_f]?)
Liela
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] (this is variant for [name_f]Layla[/name_f], so maybe not)

[name_f]Lela[/name_f], for sure.

It would probably have to be [name_f]Lela[/name_f] as it is the closest spelling for the pronunciation you want.

[name_f]Laela[/name_f], [name_f]Leila[/name_f] would probably be pronounced like ([name_f]Layla[/name_f])
[name_f]Lilla[/name_f] like ([name_f]Lil[/name_f]-lah-emphasis on second syllable)
Liela like ([name_m]Ly[/name_m]-lah)

[name_f]Lela[/name_f] would work

I’d probably use [name_f]Lela[/name_f]. The other spellings don’t sound like [name_f]Lela[/name_f] to me.

Plus, I love the crisp simplicity of the [name_f]Lela[/name_f] spelling.

[name_f]Lela[/name_f] is lovely and looks the best.

[name_f]Lilla[/name_f] is LIH-la, Liela is LYE-lah and [name_f]Leila[/name_f]/[name_f]Laela[/name_f] are [name_m]LAY[/name_m]-lah.

To me [name_f]Lila[/name_f] is pronounced like -Lie-lah. I think [name_f]Leela[/name_f] is the best spelling if I’m honest. [name_f]Leila[/name_f] is the only other option but might get mistaken for [name_f]Layla[/name_f] alot. [name_f]Lela[/name_f] looks like -[name_m]Lell[/name_m]-ah.

What about Leighla?

I would use [name_f]Lela[/name_f], as well. When I was considering the “lee-lah” sound as a nn for my own name, that’s how I had planned to spell it. I’ve also heard people pronounce [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Leila[/name_f] as “lee-lah”, as well.
