Our boy (almost 3) is named [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] and we call him by his nickname 99% of the time but haven’t yet figured out how to spell it!
We pronounce it “Rah-fee” like coffee. [name_m]How[/name_m] would you spell this in a way that makes sense and looks pleasing?
Totally open to spellings with f instead of ph.

I’d go with [name_m]Rafee[/name_m], clear and simple.
Names are funny. You have to tell people.
Does everyone know [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is [name_f]Clo[/name_f]-ee? NO
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is called Zoh-ee…but you need to tell people.
I see [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] now. Is this still Zoh-ee or is this one Zoo-ee?

I know people who go by [name_m]Rafi[/name_m] (RAH-fee) and Rafey ([name_u]REY[/name_u]-fee).
I would go with [name_m]Rafi[/name_m]. Some might see it as Raa-fee instead of Raw-fee, as it is close to the children’s singer, but if you tell them it’s short for [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], they’ll get it.
Raphy is my favourite.
[name_m]Rafi[/name_m] is the most familiar, [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
I agree Raphy looks best and is the most faithful to the name. Otherwise [name_m]Raffy[/name_m]. To me, [name_m]Rafi[/name_m] is [name_u]Rae[/name_u]-fee. My accent means I can’t quite make the link to coffee - that would be Roffee!

[name_m]Rafi[/name_m], it’s cute and easy to pronounce.
Like the kids singer, [name_m]Raffi[/name_m].
I prefer “Raphy” with the “ph” spelling
I like [name_m]Rafi[/name_m]! [name_m]Raffi[/name_m] would be my second choice.
I know a [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] who goes by Raphy! Thats my recommendation!
