How weird does this really sound?

Husband and I both like the name [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Problem is, he thinks [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] sounds too similar our last name, [name_m]Hale[/name_m].

Thoughts on [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m]?

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] is a bit much. I love [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], though! It was on my own list, once upon a time.

I really don’t think that it is that bad, you could still use [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] in my opinion. Great name by the way!

It’s quite singsong, in an unappealing way to my ears. Perhaps, [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]?

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] is kind of close. Other names like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]:

Maybe [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]?

Well, I love it.

It is kind of similar, but I don’t think it’s necessarily off-limits. At least it’s not [name_u]Haley[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m]! I know a number of people who grew up with alliterative names and loved it.

I think it’s fine.

I don’t care for it. It kind of makes me think of a comet for some reason. I’m sorry. :frowning:

I think [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] is a bit much. Makes me think of that scene from My Fair Lady where [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] Doolittle is learning to enunciate her H’s.

I think it’s fine. [name_u]Haley[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] would be way too much, but [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] has a different sound entirely.

I actually really like it. Sounds superhero-ish and cool.

It is a bit cutesy, but I think it could work.

agreed. not TOO bad, but enough to kinda irk  which sucks bc i think [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] is cute!

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] is fine, I think [name_u]Haley[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] would be an issue… Go for it!
