How would you mix these two names for an honor name?

My father in law and my dads names…I’m struggling mixing the two.

[name_m]Alfred[/name_m] [name_m]Eugene[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Mack[/name_m]

Almack which is a British surname is what I came up with but the first name would be two syllables as well and I don’t really like that. I was looking for a three syllable name. I really like ‘[name_m]Mac[/name_m]’ as a beginning but I just want some help! Figured if anyone can do it the nameberries can.

Example -Mother in law and mothers name [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_u]Jody[/name_u] became Beccodie, a surname.

Hrm that’s a tricky one. Most of the ones I come up with are two syllable as well:

[name_f]Macen[/name_f]
[name_m]Jamal[/name_m]

If you’re open to a bit of creativity you can make [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] or [name_u]Jaden[/name_u] using letters from within the names (half from either dad)…

Best wishes with your search and your pregnancy

It might not be the most creative blend, but how about MacAlfred?

TBH, I would suggest two middles as I would prefer that over a name that appears to be a made up one. ________ [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Alfred[/name_m] would be nice.

My personal favorite is [name_m]Jed[/name_m] for [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Alfred[/name_m], but these might also do the trick:

[name_m]Jared[/name_m]
[name_m]Aleck[/name_m]
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m]
Alfrick

Thank you! @babyboy2017 it is a tough one!

@islandgirl Thank you! Yeah I’m not sure. It’s a tough one.

@whitegardenia The baby would have a second middle name anyway.

@chrisco I have a [name_m]Jed[/name_m] in my family. I do like [name_m]Aleck[/name_m] but it doesn’t get 3 syllables! Haha, it’s a tough one.

What about Mccaney? @whitegardenia @islandgirl @babyboy2017 @chrisco

My dad does go by [name_m]Jimmy[/name_m].

Oh, I love Mccaney! The [name_m]Scot[/name_m] in me wants to capitalize that second C, but regardless I think you may have a winner there!

Putting [name_m]Alfred[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] together makes me think of [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m]. [name_m]Eugene[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] together makes me think of Euphraim. You could also use the initials AJ.
