How would you pronounce Anslea?

I could have sworn I posted this yesterday but it seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth so here I go again :slight_smile:

I’ve used the name [name_f]Anslea[/name_f] for one of my characters for ages and always pronounced it Anns-lee. After looking at it for a while today though, I’ve realised theres actually numerous different ways you could pronounce it. I was wondering, what are your initial thoughts of how [name_f]Anslea[/name_f] is pronounced?

I assume AYNz-lee like [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u].

I would assume like [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] as well but I think the A at the end could throw some people off making them say ains-lee-ah.

[name_f]Anslea[/name_f] looks like a modern spelling of [name_f]Ansley[/name_f] so I would pronounce it “ANZ-lee”.
