How would you spell KAY-lee?

Just wondering. How would you spell KAY-lee and most importantly WHY?

Do the spellings give you different images, associations, colors or ideas?

Could you comment on these spelling and on which images, colors etc. they give you? (you can choose from all possible spellings, though!):

Kaley
Caley
Kayleigh
Kailey
Kayley
Kaylee
Kaylie

Thanks!

I like [name_f]Kailey[/name_f], [name_f]Kayley[/name_f], [name_f]Kailee[/name_f], and [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f]

If I heard Kay-lee and wasn’t able to ask the person how they spelled it, I’d probably guess [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] because that’s the most common spelling.

I think [name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] because those are the ones that look best to me and are the most familiar

I would automatically go to [name_f]Kayley[/name_f] but I also like [name_f]Kailey[/name_f] and [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]

I know a [name_f]Cailey[/name_f] and a [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] so that kind of alters my instinct, but I would spell it nice and simple [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]

[name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f] looks best to me. [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] is nice too

[name_f]Kailey[/name_f] might sound like [name_f]Callie[/name_f]

Kayley or Kaylee seem most intuitive, and my favorite spelling would probably be Kayley. I know a Caleigh.
I can see Kaley and Caley getting mispronounced like Callie.
Most of them are the same color for me, dark magenta. Beginning with a c it’s more of a yellow :yellow_heart:

[name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]

[name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] would be my default spelling, but I also really like [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]!

[name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]. They are the simplest and most instinctive for me.

[name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] is my default.

Definitely would assume [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]. That’s my favorite spelling too.

[name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]

[name_f]Cailey[/name_f]! That spelling has always reminded me of “calico,” which I love. It feels the gentlest.

I would assume [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]. I really like this name, but only with this spelling!

I prefer [name_f]Kayley[/name_f] or [name_f]Kailey[/name_f] myself.

I would spell it [name_f]Kailey[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Kailey[/name_f], the pronunciation is clear but it just looks a little nicer than with a y in the first syllable! Also, the nicest Kaileys I’ve known spelled it like this

[name_f]Kailey[/name_f] (Reminds me more of [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] spelling)
[name_f]Kaley[/name_f] (I find this spelling is to short at first glance it looks like Kelley)
[name_u]Caley[/name_u] (I find this spelling is to short at first glance it looks like Callie)
[name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f] (I find this spelling to long)
