so the archaic meaning of [name_u]Russet[/name_u] is ‘rustic/homely’ so maybe:

yahweh helps me reach home when i cannot walk

I believe that Claude’s alternative meaning is “enclosure.” I love @/Greyblue’s interpretation of what [name_u]Russet[/name_u] means.

Yahweh is god in the enclosure of my home

I really hope I got that right.

[name_u]Claude[/name_u] also can mean glorious/famous, and reddish can be interpreted as a scarlet. The scarlet red is symbol of passion and courage.

Hey [name_m]Russ[/name_m]

I love all of these meanings especially @Greyblue poetic answer.

I also thought of “red in the enclosure where yahweh is my god” — just tried to research a little and learned that the color red has different liturgical meanings depending on the church or sect, including Pentecost, Palm [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], Advent, [name_f]Holy[/name_f] Week if any of these are especially significant to you. I’m picturing a church decked out in red, maybe through the colors of the stained glass, or a piece of brick red cloth on the pulpit.
