Hubs had made a few suggestions during the last part of 2016 even though we are no longer TTC or really having kids within the next 3-5 years. After being together for almost 7 years he finally is becoming a name nerd. happy dance
I’m looking for input on our dilemma with the names he likes and maybe some suggested combos since we can’t seem to agree.
[name_u]Blaire[/name_u]: This has been his long time (4-5 years) favorite. He’s finally exploring options other than this ONE name.
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]: We both like this name. However we both say it differently. I say Hay-[name_m]LAY[/name_m]-nah and he says closer to [name_f]Helen[/name_f]-uh. I don’t particularly care for the way he pronounces it.
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]: This is probably my favorite of his recent suggestions. He prefers the nickname [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], I like [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]. His family shortens most everything so I’m sure I can’t get them just to use [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] (my favorite) but he doesn’t.
As for combos; we have a common 2 syllable last name that ends in -er. So the flow of names always seems off to me.
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]Blaire[/name_u]
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Eva[/name_f] (ee-vah)
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]Echo[/name_u]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_u]Blaire[/name_u]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Marceline[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] Cyrene
[name_u]Blaire[/name_u] Joesphine
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]Blaire[/name_u]
[name_u]Blaire[/name_u] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
Ideas, combo suggestions, input? I’ve got a few weeks to myself and I’m realizing I’ve not properly updated my list in over a year.
