[name_f]Eudora[/name_f] [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] Fenwick (22) and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] Debare Adebayo (27) met in Lagos, Nigeria, while [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] was working there as a business development manager for [name_m]Joel[/name_m]’s father’s company, and it was love at first sight. They got married in 2021 in a wonderful ceremony and then spent two amazing weeks in Thailand for their honeymoon. They live in a nice 2-bedroom house in Exeter, [name_f]England[/name_f], with a placid 3-year-old Persian cat, which they adopted from an animal shelter and named [name_m]Franklin[/name_m]. [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] is currently working as a financial analyst for a local bank, while [name_m]Joel[/name_m] is a hospital pharmacist.
Year 1 - [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] wants to have a place where she can get away from her busy life for a while and spend time outdoors in the sun, so she starts a vegetable garden. She plants plenty of vegetables, such as tomatoes, carrots, eggplants, cabbages and cucumbers, and hopes to be able to enjoy a beautiful garden full of the fruits of her labor very soon. Also, one of [name_m]Joel[/name_m]’s uncles dies and leaves him a conspicuous amount of money, with which he buys a new car for himself and an enchanting silver ring for his wife, who appreciates it a lot.
Year 2 - For her birthday, [name_m]Joel[/name_m] buys [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] a cute 2-month-old guinea pig, which she names [name_f]Buttercup[/name_f]. As strange as it may seem, she gets along well with the house cat, but the couple doesn’t trust [name_m]Franklin[/name_m] enough to let him alone with the new family member. A couple of months after welcoming [name_f]Buttercup[/name_f] into the family, [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] learns that her childhood house is up for sale. Despite having many memories related to that place, she understands that it isn’t safe to spend so much money to buy it and decides to let it sell.
Year 3 - The couple thinks it’s the right time to have a baby! After a few months of trying, [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] starts feeling nauseous and fatigued, so she takes a pregnancy tests and the result is positive. The 20-week ultrasound reveals that she’s carrying a healthy baby boy and the couple couldn’t be more thrilled. The pregnancy proceeds without any complications and [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] eventually delivers the handsome [name_m]Adriel[/name_m] Sobechi. He’s named after [name_f]Eudora[/name_f]’s father, [name_m]Adrian[/name_m], while is middle name is the same as [name_m]Joel[/name_m]’s father’s.
Year 4 - This is a year of big changes for [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and her little family: she and her husband decide to move to Mankato, Minnesota, where they buy a modern 3-bedroom house with a large backyard and a small pool. A few weeks after moving there, [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] finds herself unexpectedly pregnant with another baby boy. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like the previous one, the pregnancy continues on without any problems and the family is pleased to welcome the gorgeous [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] Ebiye later that same year, on [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] day.
Year 5 - For their wedding anniversary, [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] decide to treat themselves and go on a 2-week trip around [name_f]France[/name_f]. [name_f]Eudora[/name_f]’s brother agrees to stay with the children while his sister and brother-in-law are gone, so he moves in with them for a couple of weeks. In [name_f]France[/name_f], [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] have a fantastic time: they visit a lot of wonderful places, try an outrageous amount of new foods and meet some great people, with whom they soon become friends. When their holiday is over, they promise to stay in touch with them.
Year 6 - [name_f]Buttercup[/name_f] has been feeling kind of lonely lately, so [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] buys her a new playmate, a lively 3-month-old guinea pig she names Dandelion. They get along perfectly and [name_f]Buttercup[/name_f] is extremely happy to have a new friend. Also, [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] want to have another baby, so they start the adoption process and bring home a sweet 5-year-old girl from Uganda, whom they name [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] Namakula. Namakula is the name she was given by her birth parents, so the couple decides to keep it as a middle name to always remind their daughter of her origins.
Year 7 - The couple takes the decision to buy a stock in a small public company and gets a bunch of money from it. They put most of it into their children’s saving accounts and use the rest to buy some new home appliances. In addition to that, [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] uses some of it to pay a private piano teacher and finally fulfills her childhood dream of taking piano lessons from a professional instructor. She discovers that she’s exceptionally good at it and quickly gets the chance to participate in a piano competition. She doesn’t win, but at least she has a great time.
Year 8 - [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] has a passion for music and is a superbly good singer. [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] teaches her basic music theory for a while, but she eventually decides to take her to vocal lessons and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] absolutely loves it. In the meantime, [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is diagnosed with an end-stage renal disease and has to undergo an expensive medical procedure to replace his failed kidneys with a transplanted one. Everyone is scared and confused, but the surgery goes perfectly and the little one recovers pretty quickly.
Year 9 - [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] quits her job to start working as a financial analyst for an insurance company in Scarville, Iowa. Her new workplace is far from her home, but her salary is way higher than before. One day, a terrible tragedy happens: [name_f]Eudora[/name_f]’s sister, a skilled soldier who had joined the military right after finishing high school, is killed in a military operation in Afghanistan. Needless to say, the whole family is heartbroken and completely speechless. [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] go back to [name_f]England[/name_f] for the funeral, while the children stay at home with a family friend who offers to take care of them while the couple is gone.
Year 10 - During their short visit to [name_f]England[/name_f], [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] realize how much they miss Exeter and all the people who live there. In order to be closer to [name_f]Eudora[/name_f]’s parents during this difficult moment, they decide to move back there and buy a gorgeous 4-bedroom house in the suburbs of the city. Also, [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], who is now 9 years old, helped by her father, creates a website to post videos of herself singing. The virtual audience seems to enjoy her videos and she gets a lot of nice and encouraging comments.
Year 11 - [name_m]Franklin[/name_m], the family cat, suddenly passes away from feline pancreatitis and everyone is devastated, especially [name_m]Adriel[/name_m], who was really close to him. Since [name_f]Buttercup[/name_f], one of their two guinea pigs, had also left them the previous year, the family adopts a 2-year-old mixed-breed dog, [name_m]Sirius[/name_m]. But their new four-legged friend isn’t the only addition to the family: [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] is pregnant, and even though the pregnancy was unplanned, she and her husband are happy to welcome a beautiful baby girl, [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] Tiwa, into the world. Her first name is after [name_f]Eudora[/name_f]’s deceased sister.
Year 12 - The whole family takes a cruise to [name_f]Jamaica[/name_f] and spends a couple of magnificent weeks there. [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] want [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] to have a sibling who’s close in age, so they decide to start the adoption process once again, and when it comes to choosing the country they want to adopt from, they have no doubts and decide to adopt a Jamaican baby. The bring home a joyful 3-year-old girl, [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] Adiaba. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is the name she was given at the orphanage and they like it so much that they choose to keep it.
Year 13 - Dandelion, the guinea pig, peacefully dies in [name_f]Eudora[/name_f]’s arms after living a long and happy life. Although the couple wasn’t planning on getting a new pet anytime soon, one of their neighbors confesses them that he’s no longer able to take care of his dog, a 6-year-old Pitbull mix, and that she’ll end up in an animal shelter if he’s not able to find her a new family, so they decide to adopt her, renaming her [name_f]Gretel[/name_f]. In the meantime, [name_m]Joel[/name_m] is sued for causing a car accident and loses the lawsuit. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though the plaintiff was partly at fault, he has to pay for the damages he caused.
Year 14 - [name_m]Joel[/name_m]’s father dies and leaves him his company in his will. After thinking about it for a while, the couple decides to move there with the whole family, so that [name_m]Joel[/name_m] can manage the company with [name_f]Eudora[/name_f]’s help. They move into a 5-bedroom house in Lagos, Nigeria. [name_m]Joel[/name_m] also creates a website for the company, as well as a Facebook page and a Twitter account, hoping to get some new costumers from different parts of the world.
Year 15 - The couple wants to add a new baby to the family, so they start trying to conceive. [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] successfully gets pregnant, but has a miscarriage at 7 weeks. In the weeks following the miscarriage, her mental health deteriorates and she’s diagnosed with depression, which causes relationship troubles between her and her husband. To top it all, [name_m]Joel[/name_m] has to undergo an expensive hip replacement surgery, even though he’s very young for that type of procedure.
Year 16 - [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] manage to work through their marriage problems and they’re more in love than ever. One day, [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] finally finds out she’s pregnant and the whole family couldn’t be more excited! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though she’s already in her late 30s and despite her recent miscarriage, the pregnancy proceeds perfectly and she easily delivers her third baby boy, the sweet [name_m]Leander[/name_m] Kayin. The couple decides that they won’t have any more biological children, unless the universe has different plans for them.
Year 17 - [name_m]Joel[/name_m] realizes that running a company isn’t what he really wants to do, so he goes back to being a pharmacist. He decides to leave the business in his wife’s hands and [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] becomes the company’s chief executive officer. A few months later, [name_m]Joel[/name_m]’s twin brother and his wife are killed in a car accident and they leave their 12-year-old son orphaned. [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m] are the only family he has left, so decide to adopt him. His name is [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] Godwin. Welcoming his nephew into his family greatly helps [name_m]Joel[/name_m] cope with his brother’s death.
