Hunter Fox?

on a girl. just wondering

What do you people think?

I like [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] for a girl, actually, but [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] isnā€™t my cup of tea. It does feel very masculine, but also, it sounds more like an action than a name (like ā€œhunting foxā€)?

Absolutely not. Google [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] novels.

Iā€™m really not a fan of [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] for girls. I like [name_u]Fox[/name_u], but paired together itā€™s very masculine, and, like @leafsgirl44 said, it does sound like the action of ā€œhunting fox.ā€ If you do end up using [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] or [name_u]Fox[/name_u], I would use a more feminine mn or fn to balance it out. We all have different styles, though, and thatā€™s what makes names so diverse and beautiful. Best of luck!!

Hunter [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is kind of a violent sounding name for a boy or girl. I donā€™t think it would suit a person well and would certainly have negative connotations. maybe [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u], [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u], [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u], or [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u]?

Iā€™m sorry, Iā€™m not sure about it. I think that [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] followed by an animal name is too much for me. Itā€™s too descriptive. I also prefer [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Fox[/name_u] for a boy.

Iā€™m really not a fan of [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], sorry. It just reminds me of an actual hunter, and I really donā€™t like those associations.
[name_u]Fox[/name_u], however, is super cool! I love it on a girl. I think [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is an incredible suggestion!

I also think youā€™ve mentioned liking unisex names on girls, and if thatā€™s your style, I donā€™t personally think you need a more ā€˜feminineā€™ name as a first!

I donā€™t really think you can use both [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Fox[/name_u] either for a girl or a boy, just sounds too much like actually hunting foxes which isnā€™t something Iā€™d want to name a kid after  I think [name_u]Fox[/name_u] itself is okay for a girl though. Maybe [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] or [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u]?

I get violent associations from [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] so I really dislike the name in general. The name itself sounds like an action rather than a name. I think [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is a cool middle, and I love the suggestions of [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] and [name_u]Harlow[/name_u]!

Hunter [name_u]Fox[/name_u] sounds too much like ā€˜hunt a foxā€™ and fox hunting isnā€™t a great connotation to have if Iā€™m honest, sorry

A little too wordy for my liking (although many of my suggestions are wordy as well. Oops!) It also gives me kind of intense imagery. Maybe you would like:

I donā€™t mind [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] or [name_u]Fox[/name_u] on a girl but together itā€™s just too much for me boy or girl.

I love @jonquils suggestion of [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] and @may.rose [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u].

[name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is too intense on any gender imho. Hunder or [name_u]Fox[/name_u] individually are fine on a girl.
@jonquilsā€™ suggestion of [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is amazing, Iā€™d honestly use it myself.
[name_u]Harlow[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is also nice! Maybe [name_u]Haven[/name_u] gives a similar vibe?

I like hunter because i own a horse who i show as a Show [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] i.e a horse who would have been used for hunting in the past and is beautiful.

just clarification

I love unisex names.

I know a [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and she is a sassy independent little thing!

If I was using [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] I would pair it with a more feminine middle . I love [name_u]Fox[/name_u] so maybe
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u] Sionn (Irish means fox)
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_f]Ffion[/name_f] (welsh for [name_u]Foxglove[/name_u])
