So my husband and I are arguing about names again. I love [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]/[name_f]Leah[/name_f] & he loves [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] vote [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
His vote [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
I feel like both are too close to the cosmetic line, [name_f]Lia[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Leah[/name_f] much more as a given name ([name_u]Leigh[/name_u]/[name_u]Lee[/name_u] has become so filler for me that I find it hard to even find any personality left in it, sorry!), so [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] would get my vote. It’s a shame about the cosmetic line–I love [name_f]Lia[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]/[name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] as a combo!
Why don’t you pick your favorite out of [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]/[name_f]Leah[/name_f] and he picks his favorite out of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]? That way you both get what you want. I personally think [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] sounds much more complete than [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]. [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] sounds the best to me, though I haven’t heard of the cosmetic line.
I prefer [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] to [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is really heavy on the -ee sound. [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] has more sounds between the -ee sounds, so it sounds a bit better in my opinion.
I’m trying to like [name_f]Leah[/name_f]/[name_u]Leigh[/name_u]…but as another poster said it just feels filler to me also. It is pretty but filler. Have you thought about [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] in the first name spot? I know it’s the #1 name right now but it is also very beautiful.
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] is lovely…and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Leah[/name_f] is as well. Good luck!
