[name]Hi[/name] there I’m now into my second trimester with my first pregnancy and neither me nor my husband have any idea what to call our baby. We don’t know the sex and we want to keep it as a suprise.
Why is it easier to find names you don’t like than ones that you do like?
We like pretty names for girls, but they need to be strong names which will suit them whatever their age. For boys we want also strong names and nothing too unusual or spelt differently.
We also don’t want names that are too common.
Does anyone have any idea at all because we are stuck
I have hundreds of names that I would never use, and only a few that I would consider, so that is normal! Sounds like you are looking for a strong, classic name that is distinctive but not too far out. Here are my suggestions for girls.
[name]Georgia[/name] is lovely! From your description, it sounds like it could be a great fit. Also, if you’re not totally sold on [name]Susannah[/name], maybe [name]Suzanne[/name]?
Other ideas for girls: [name]Lara[/name] (similar to [name]Eva[/name], but less popular), [name]Anjelica[/name]/[name]Angelica[/name] (nn [name]Angie[/name] if she wants it, works well for younger to older), [name]Maura[/name], [name]Stella[/name], [name]Chloe[/name] (I know it’s gotten popular, but it’s just so nice! Thought I’d throw it in there…)
Then for boys, [name]Lionel[/name] I would second. Also: [name]Louis[/name], [name]Spencer[/name], [name]Tobias[/name], [name]Lucas[/name] (nice, but I think it’s gaining popularity)
