I have to find a new pair

Unfortunately I had to reject the idea of using name [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] for Nikita’s brother and am thinking of name [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] as the one closest in sound… (ee and n). [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it flows or they are too close in sounding?

[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_f]Nikita[/name_f] don’t sound too similar

I think they’re different in style, but they’re a cute set! They don’t sound particularly similar to me.

I don’t think they’re too similar and they can work [name_f][/name_f]- but they also don’t sound super cohesive to me. I think [name_m]Kieran[/name_m], [name_m]Rohan[/name_m], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], [name_m]Aaron[/name_m], [name_m]Lev[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] would work, if [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] no longer a possibility. [name_f]Or[/name_f] something a little less common than Ethan…

I’m sorry [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] didn’t work out! [name_f][/name_f] I think [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_f]Nikita[/name_f] work fine together, sound wise, though I agree they seem quite different from each other style wise. [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Ilya[/name_m] was my first idea for a replacement for [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], but I don’t know your original other options, so I’m not sure what else might appeal to you. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_m]Lev[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m], and [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] that @EloiseT[name_f][/name_f] mentioned!

[name_f][/name_f]

These make lovely replacements for [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] imo:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Jovan[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Bogdan[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Ilya[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and Mikhail/Misha
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Igor[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and Evgeniy
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Illarion[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Ignati[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Boris[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Maksim[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Daniil[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Matvey[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Ruvim[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Konstantin[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nikita[/name_f] and [name_m]Leonid[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

Good luck!

[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_f]Nikita[/name_f] do share the ‘ee’ and ‘n’ sounds, but I don’t think it’s overly matchy.
[name_f][/name_f]If you’re looking for names that complement without feeling too close, [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] fits pretty well, classic yet approachable, just like Nikita.”

[name_f]Nikita[/name_f] & [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] do not sound too similar, and the flow is okay! Although not cohesive together (Ethan feels a little plain next to Nikita), I am not of the belief that sibling names must be the same style. [name_f]Every[/name_f] child is different after all so their names can reflect that!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] is a strong name, and if you love it that’s all that matters.

But do you feel like the Slavic names are less prettier in general and using them is almost a compromise… I am in love with some names like [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] (Evan), [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] and really others very few but can’t use them because they are taken by close friends. Others don’t feel so pleasing… i feel like origin for me is very important in the name but I don’t find one that I like.

I had [name_m]Jovan[/name_m], [name_m]Konrad[/name_m], [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] on my list… I love your suggestions but when it comes to picking one name… it’s hard… which do you consider more beautiful?
