I met a woman named [name]Josette[/name] today! So pretty [name]IMO[/name].
I really liked it. I’m probably partial. lol I love ette names… [name]Annette[/name], [name]Colette[/name], [name]Cosette[/name], [name]Nicolette[/name], [name]Odette[/name], [name]Suzette[/name], and a lot more. lol So, what do you think of [name]Josette[/name]?
I think it’s gorgeous and very unusual I have never heard it before! I love the nn etta… Though joey and josey are cute too!
I have a friend named [name]Josette[/name]! I think it’s a gorgeous name!
I love [name]Josette[/name], considered it for this baby, but my DH vetoed it.
Wow, I’ve never heard that name before and I really like it! Thanks for sharing.
I know a [name]Josette[/name]. It is different and lovely. I’d probably use the nn [name]Josie[/name] with it, too… So cute!
I think I’m the only one that doesn’t love it.
I like [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Odette[/name] (and even the combo [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Odette[/name]!) much more than [name]Josette[/name]. It feels a bit old-fashioned and frumpy to me, and I guess part of my distaste for it is that I don’t really like the nn [name]Josie[/name] at all. I don’t see the appeal, haha. I do love the possibility of [name]Etta[/name] as a nn, though, and I do like it a lot more than some other -ette names (although yes, in general, I’m very much like you and love [name]Etta[/name] names!).
My great great grandmother was a [name]Josette[/name]! I think it’s lovely.
I do prefer [name]Josephine[/name], just feels like it has more history to me…but I have considered [name]Josette[/name] because I really love [name]Jos[/name]- names in general, along with nickname [name]Josie[/name], and DH thinks [name]Josephine[/name] is “hard” sounding. Grr.
I like [name]Colette[/name] & [name]Nicolette[/name] too.
I’ve heard of [name]Josette[/name] and have always considered it a diminutive of [name]Josephine[/name]. I think it would make a great nn for a [name]Josephine[/name] but I find it a little cutesy for a grown woman. I like some “ette” names but many of them sound like “infantile” versions of full names ([name]Georgette[/name] - [name]Georgia[/name],[name]Georgiana[/name],[name]Georgina[/name]).
I think it is spunky and would be a great girl name. I’ve never met anyone named [name]Josette[/name] but, I think it would be a name that works in all stages of life.
I think it’s a flirty, pretty name but a bit too cute. It sounds like a pet name for a [name]Josephine[/name] or a [name]Josepha[/name]. I really like nn [name]Josie[/name], though. [name]Joey[/name]'s cute, too.
Thanks all.
The person I met with the name was in her 20s and was doing some public speaking. I thought she wore it really well.
It didn’t come across cutesy to me. Flirty and spunky yes. The lady herself came across very mature. I am going to be getting to know this lady, so I’m not sure I could actually use it myself. lol Maybe though!
I worked with a [name]Josette[/name] last summer at my part time job. Also, my friend’s Mom is named [name]Josette[/name]. Very pretty name!
I have a friend named [name]Josette[/name] that I’ve known since 5th Grade. I think it’s really pretty.
That is really cute in a quirky way …[name]Yvette[/name] is also nice.
I think its a beautiful name! I’d never heard of it before, but I really like it!
It’s pretty and a great and fresh alternative to [name]Josephine[/name]!
