Today I found out that I’m having a girl which honestly I’m so thrilled about. I was secretly hoping for a girl and I can’t believe I’ve been so blessed.
Anyways I’ve been speaking to the father of this little one I wanted to name my baby [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as I adore the name and because I wanted to honour his mother. She died tragically and I wanted to honour her as she was such a brave courageous person. However [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] has said that he thinks it would be too painful for him to continuously say his mothers name and thinks it’ll be to hard for him. So obviously I can’t use [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first name as I don’t want that. I want him to hear his daughters name & feel happy.
I’ve gone off a lot of names & names I’d previously gone off I’m in love with again. The front runners are currently [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] & [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. I’m most likely just going to use my surname and use two middle names [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. But I am looking for further inspiration see whether anything else seems appealing.
So what first name would you put with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Ramage or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] Ramage? Ramage pronounced like damage with an R
Ah essentially my mum said that it would be nice to use Elizabeth in full and I agreed with her so I’m going to have Rose & Elizabeth especially as I’m only using my surname.
Thank you for the positive comments on Lilia I’m also in love with it
Congratulations! [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is wonderful, but so is [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I can’t choose!
Thank you for the feedback I’m glad that both the names are receiving positive feedback definitely want to use both [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Rose[/name_f] but Roselani is cool
Ooh [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is also lovely! [name_f]My[/name_f] preference is [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] but you have two absolute winners there
I love the middle names you have in either order. I enjoy the flow of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Ramage and the quirky alliteration of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] Ramage, so you can’t go wrong there.
I like both [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and (especially) [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], but if you’re looking for other ideas, how about…
Vivienne
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Lena[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Alba[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] (loving the alliteration of [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] E R Ramage or [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] R E Ramage)
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f]Celine[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Verity[/name_f]
for some reason my first thought was [name_u]Romilly[/name_u].
[name_u]Romilly[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Ramage is a lot of ‘rs’ but i actually love it!! nn could be Roo, [name_f]Roe[/name_f], or [name_f]Millie[/name_f] which would be so sweet!!
Thank you for the suggestions and general positivity
I really love [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] & [name_f]Verity[/name_f]. Thank you @katinka
Edna [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (I realize this would make the initials ERER which you might not like. Maybe [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Edna[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] instead? EERR)
Congratulations on your baby girl! What a blessing! I’m so happy for you.
I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] flows better in general, but I suppose it depends on the first name. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] are both gorgeous!
Both options are beautiful. I slightly prefer [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as its slightly shorter but [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is gorgeous too.
@Strawberry.Bunny thank you for your suggestions & positivity regarding [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] I tend to love really feminine girl names so love your suggestions off [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f] & [name_f]Anna[/name_f] thank you!
@elanorelle thank you for the positivity I love both of them as well
@PrincessShannon that’s one the reasons why I love [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] also the spelling is not as complicated as [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
