We are TTC # 3 and if it is a girl we would love to honor my dh grandmother [name]Janice[/name].
whom we affectionately call “Granny Janny”
What are some spunky/fun/girly names that would sound great if [name]Janice[/name] was in the middle slot? Since [name]Janice[/name] is so dated I need something to balance it out or an updated version of the name [name]Janice[/name]. Any ideas?
Other children are [name]Rylee[/name] and [name]Beckett[/name].
I can’t think of any first name suggestions necessarily, though I think most names that don’t end in -ice would work well, but I also think that [name]Janine[/name] sounds fresher than [name]Janice[/name], so you might consider that for a middle name if you happen to love one that would otherwise not work.
[name]Reece[/name] [name]Janice[/name] = not so good
[name]Reece[/name] [name]Janine[/name] = OK
Note that I’m not endorsing [name]Reece[/name], just trying [name]Janice[/name]/[name]Janine[/name] in the middle.
What a nice puzzle to work out, hurray for Granny Janny!
[name]Eliza[/name] [name]Janice[/name] was the first name to pop into my head! A lovely, yet unexpected, combination. You could also go with [name]Jane[/name] as the mn, instead of [name]Janice[/name].
I think a modern sounding three-syllable name would go nicely with [name]Janice[/name] as the middle. With [name]Rylee[/name] and [name]Beckett[/name] I like more unisex sounding girls names, but some girly names would fit as well:
