I am a new mom expecting a little boy in [name_f]September[/name_f]. I want to choose the perfect name for [name_u]Baby[/name_u] [name_u]West[/name_u], but his dad and I cannot agree on a name. I don’t want to settle just to compromise, and I don’t want him to either. Here are the names we like. [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to mix and match or add names! I know I have a little more time since I am just half way there, but I’d like to make a decision as soon as possible! Thank youuu!

[name_u]Devon[/name_u] - the only name we agree on, however, I don’t absolutely love it. Meaning - poet
[name_u]Andre[/name_u] - Means man
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] - “[name_m]Eli[/name_m]” for short. Meaning - uplifted
[name_u]Bradley[/name_u] - The baby’s dad’s middle name. Meaning - wide meadow
[name_m]Knox[/name_m] - Top of my list. Meaning - leader
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] - Means entire
[name_m]Miles[/name_m] - Our last name is [name_u]West[/name_u]. Would [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_u]West[/name_u] be a horrible name? Meaning - soldier
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] - Means from the brook
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] - This is a family name. Meaning - divine gift
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] - Means blessed, happy, fortunate

I like [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], [name_m]Knox[/name_m], [name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_m]Miles[/name_m], [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. However, I think I like [name_m]Knox[/name_m], [name_m]Miles[/name_m], and [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] in the middle spot.

I think [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Knox[/name_m] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] are really cool names. [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Miles[/name_m] or [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] are other great choices.

All are great combos. Although putting [name_m]Knox[/name_m] or [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] in front is also an option. I just like the first name to have more syllables.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites on your list are [name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Eli[/name_m]’. I don’t think [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], [name_m]Miles[/name_m], or [name_m]Knox[/name_m] work as a first name with [name_u]West[/name_u]. [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] makes a good middle name, but I wouldn’t use it as a first as it feels very dated.

I think you have a great list of names!
I really love Theo (but since my son is a Theodore nn Theo I may be a little biased), Elijah and Miles. I think Miles West works fine. It’s a bit of a joke but I don’t think it is too bad, just annoying. You could also use Milo, which is similar.

Thank you guys so much! You’ve put names together that I would not have tried, and they sound so good!! I agree with caligal and emsky on [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], [name_m]Miles[/name_m], and [name_m]Knox[/name_m] as middle names only. I actually love caligal and klemley18’s idea of [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]…very cute! [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] also works very well and I hadn’t put the two together. I see a pattern of popularity in [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], [name_m]Miles[/name_m] , and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] here. Yall have helped so much!! I am very excited to work with these combos and make a decision, thank you so much!
