I quite like [name_u]Hudson[/name_u], but it seems like you might both prefer something a bit rarer? [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] and [name_m]Hiram[/name_m] are both cool, rare choices.
I actually love the name [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]! I think it’s so cute, and while it is trendy because it is a place name ([name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_u]River[/name_u]) I think it has some solidness to it.
Some other H names to consider! Any repeats mean that I double like it!
[name_u]Holden[/name_u]
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_u]Hayes[/name_u]/Hughes/Hugh
[name_m]Hector[/name_m]
[name_m]Henrik[/name_m]
[name_u]Hayden[/name_u]
[name_u]Houston[/name_u]
[name_m]Harris[/name_m]
[name_m]Harlan[/name_m]
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] is totally trendy & popular. I just meet so many little tykes called this. I meet a lot of Henrys (a lovely ‘H’ name!) Andrews & [name_m]Williams[/name_m] too. But it feels different, because they’re more classic.
Of names already listed, I really like [name_m]Hamish[/name_m] & [name_m]Henry[/name_m] again. I also really like [name_u]Harry[/name_u] or [name_m]Hank[/name_m]. Betters as nns for [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Henrik[/name_m] or [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], but maybe could work on their own?
I love [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] so much, and I especially love that it’s the state flower of [name_f]Missouri[/name_f], which is my home state. I feel the same way about [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]. I liked it for a long time, but it has definitely shot up in popularity and has made it feel somewhat generic to me know. Here are my personal top H names…
I’ve always liked the name [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] but yes my perception is that it’s become fairly popular. Certainly in a different category altogether from [name_m]Hiram[/name_m]. I can see how [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] is kind of right in the middle of the spectrum between those two!
But since it was veto’d…
What about the much more unusual H name… [name_m]Halifax[/name_m]! I know it’s a lot more out there in sound, but if you think about it, it’s a place name just like [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]. All the cool historical & geographical interest plus modern -x ending, and adorable nn [name_m]Hal[/name_m].
If [name_m]Halifax[/name_m] is too much, perhaps [name_u]Hendrix[/name_u]. Very cool musical tribute name.
