i just LOVE names, but i’ve felt as if i’m not finding any new names that i love anymore! so, i’m going to summarize my style without telling you names that i like, and i would SO appreciate it if you would come with your own perspective and creative heart and help a girl out!
for girls, i tend to lean towards romantic and vintage, but still grounded if that makes sense! i’m a big fan of nicknames (especially two-syllable nicknames that end in “ie”), but it’s not essential. but if you do have any fun nickname ideas, i’m all ears! overall, i love names that feel soft and nostalgic, but at the same time, sometimes i do love word names, nature names, and surname names. a little whimsy never hurts! it’s names you’d hear on girls with matching mommy + me dresses, pet chickens, and handmade toys. i try to avoid trendy names, because i’ve always loved having a name that not too many people share!
for boys, i’m very picky. i do like traditional boy names, but not when they’re overused! i like vintage charm, like a grandpa name that deserves a comeback but isn’t too clunky. i do enjoy some european names, but i’m a caucasian american so there are some boy names i like that i feel that i cannot use. recently i’ve been loving slightly more modern names that are still handsome and gentle. some surname names are very nice, too!
i typically gravitate towards i like a lot of L, M, and O names for girls and B, C, and L names for boys, but i’d love to branch out!
