All of our combos, as most of you know, have special meaning and honor loved ones. We have also put together combos thinking about which loved ones we wanted to honor together in the same combo. Last week I lost my mom ([name_m]RIP[/name_m]) and so some names and combos have become even more important and meaningful to us. I was not going to bring this up, at least at this time, but my thread in the girls forum had a situation that I felt the subject needed to be brought up. It was about Maebry. Maebry is a name that honors my mother-in-law and late grandma (maternal). It was also a name my mom loved when I told her about it. At the time her loving it was not as important as it is now. Maebry has become even more special to us.
To keep a long story short, [name_m]Piers[/name_m] means “rock” and [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] means “land of the lochs”. We are considering “land of the lochs” to be close to river. We grew-up and our parents and some of our grandparents grew-up in a city with river and rock in the name. So [name_m]Piers[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] is very special and is a reminder of a lifetime of memories for many loved ones, including us. That is why [name_m]Piers[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] has remained one of our favorites. Okay that was not very short.
[name_u]Gray[/name_u] is to honor my mom, [name_u]Gay[/name_u]. She also loved the name [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. She said she pictured a tall, handsome actor. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] in around-about way honors my dad. [name_u]Gray[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] has been special to us but with the loss, has become even more special.
What boy names do you feel go well with [name_m]Piers[/name_m] and [name_u]Gray[/name_u]?
