… but now I’m second-guessing the middle name of [name_u]Rain[/name_u]. [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is beginning to sound too hippy / mod next to [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u] with my other daughters. And, I feel like that contrast is even more apparent next to [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]. Am I just being hormonal or do you guys agree with me?? I feel silly for how much I’ve stressed over the name, but I really take the responsibility seriously… not that I probably need to explain myself to you guys haha!
I think [name_u]Dove[/name_u], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], and [name_u]Rain[/name_u] go together quite well if that’s what you’re concerned about. I’m not crazy about the combo [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Rain[/name_u], though, maybe because they each end with “n”.
I don’t think it’s silly to stress over a name, your child will live with it for their whole life! To me the similar endings of [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_u]Rain[/name_u] make it a bit awkward. Maybe [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Skye[/name_u]? But I don’t think [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is out of sync with [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u] either.
I actually like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Rain[/name_u], and I think that [name_u]Dove[/name_u], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], and [name_u]Rain[/name_u] go together well, and especially if they are all middles, it’s more of a subtle theme than if they were all first names.
I think [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is nice and [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is pretty equally hippie with [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and [name_u]Dove[/name_u]. I few other middle suggestions just in case…
[name_u]Brook[/name_u]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] (not one syllable but still 4 letters)
[name_u]Lake[/name_u]
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
[name_f]Moon[/name_f]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Snow[/name_f]
I kind of know what you mean… it does somehow feel more hippie than the other two, but that might just be because it was more popular for parents from that generation. [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u] feel fresher/more modern, imo. That said, the three go well together, and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is a very pretty combo. I’d love [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Lark[/name_f], but not sure if you want two birds. I say stick with [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Rain[/name_u], I actually think the combo and sis names elevate it.
