I think I've found my favourite girls name

I’m not TTC or expecting, but I’ve always struggled to find a top girls name, however I think I may have just found it. It was something I just randomly put together and hoped it’d work, and it does in my opinion. What are your thoughts?

The name is [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]. [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] is pronounced keh-RISS (or care-ISS if this way helps). It means ‘love’ in Welsh and I think it suits [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] quite well, as this is the season I adore the most. The rainy days are my favourite.

Any thoughts on the name would be great!

When I read the name, I read it “Seh-rys” (but maybe because the spelling looks like [name_f]Cerise[/name_f] ([name_f]Cherry[/name_f] in [name_m]French[/name_m])). I know a girl named [name_f]Carys[/name_f].
The meaning is awesome. I love [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], they work well together.

One of my best friends is named [name_f]Karis[/name_f], so I’m biased, but I love it.

It’s pretty :). I did read it as “Seh-riss” at first too, though.

It’s a very pretty combination. I personally would not use it (it’s not my general style), but I think it is a lovely, feminine name. The delicate [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] is balanced out by the strong [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]. A real winner!!

I always misread [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] as “seh-riss” too. Apart from that, I think it’s a gorgeous combo! (And for all I know, this wouldn’t be a problem in the UK - I live in [name_f]Canada[/name_f].)

I misread too. Looks like Ser-iss. Very pretty name though. I’d probably change the e to an a to clear up confusion.

Thanks all, [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] isn’t mispronounced in the UK thankfully. I also don’t like the [name_f]Carys[/name_f] spelling!

Anyway, thanks for the comments on it!
