I was looking through my first post for any suggestions that I liked in the light of day or could expand on and somebody (@boyandgirl I believe, thank you!) suggested [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], after clicking on the name I came across [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] and [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] and I fell head over heals in love with both of them!
After running them past my hubby (he loved both as well) we think we may have found the name for our baby girl!
Which do you prefer? [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] or [name_f]Leonore[/name_f]? Middle name is going to be [name_f]Della[/name_f]!
(As you can probably tell from all the exclamation marks I’m very excited about these names!!!)
I prefer [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] (gives you the option of nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as well as [name_m]Leo[/name_m]/[name_f]Lea[/name_f]), but [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] is better with [name_f]Della[/name_f].
My preference is [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] is just too frilly with a middle name also ending in “a”.
If you pronounce both with a [name_m]Leo[/name_m]- sound, I prefer [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f]. If you say [name_f]Lenora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] (as in the [name_m]Leo[/name_m] in [name_m]Leonard[/name_m]), I prefer [name_f]Leonora[/name_f].
[name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f]. Flows much better and it would stand out a little more when every girls name right now seems to end in -a.
But [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] and [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] are both beautiful choices so you can’t go wrong!
Could you do [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_u]Dell[/name_u]? I like [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] a little bit better, but [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f] sounds better. Both are good, gorgeous, solid choices!
I think I also prefer [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f]. Have you tried the shortened version of [name_f]Leora[/name_f]? It may go well too- [name_f]Leora[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought!
[name_f]Leonora[/name_f] is one of my favourite names, but with [name_f]Della[/name_f] I think [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f] flows so much better than [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] but paired with [name_f]Della[/name_f] there’s too much a for me. I really like [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_u]Dell[/name_u], if that’s an option!
I see a lot of hemming and hawing over [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f]/[name_u]Dell[/name_u] or [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f]/[name_u]Dell[/name_u]. If you prefer [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] but don’t feel like it flows well, could you do [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Adelle[/name_f]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought
