I love [name]Florin[/name]!! Speaking of fictional characters my son is named [name]Jack[/name] [name]Ryan[/name]. It’s actually a family name, but I have to explain it to everyone! But I don’t care, I love it, and he is totally a [name]Jack[/name] [name]Ryan[/name]!
I would say naming your child after ANY movie or book probably isn’t the best idea!!
Hmm…
I understand that you may love ‘The [name]Princess[/name] [name]Bride[/name]’ and I know that when your in love with a novel that the names feel so inspiring and lovely that you’d want to use the names from the novel. For instance I love the [name]Malorie[/name] Blackman novel ‘Noughts and Crosses’ and love the names of the main characters [name]Persephone[/name] and [name]Callum[/name] because of the characters in the novel. Yet to be honest I think you have to consider how the name actually works in real life. For me I don’t think [name]Florin[/name] works as a first name for a boy the name feels girly it reminds me of somebody I went to college with [name]Florentine[/name] who was very feminine and only wore pink it seemed. Yet I think if you had [name]Florin[/name] as a middle name it would work.
